EGAR Choice Discussion Cards [Series 1A] Game 2 - ALCOHOL

These structured Award-Winning EGAR Let's Get Talking Choice discussion cards are great toolkits for communication, conversation and life skills.  They can be used as additional tools to curriculums or for recreational learning.  They will raise awareness about ALCOHOL and the affect it has on the body. Young people will discuss their knowledge through their choice of cards and their understanding of alcohol.  It will encourage them not to drink too much, what the causes of doing so may be and also the consequences that go with these decisions.  It will also help them to realise the dangers involved when teenagers, in particular drink too much.  It focuses on behaviour, drink related crime and drink measures and many other areas to do with alcohol.  A drilling down and unpicking of mindsets and attitudes.  EGAR learning method is a good introductory tool to use for a piece of themed work or within corporate 'icebreakers' training on this subject; on a one to one basis or within collaborated learning.  In this card set is an Other Ideas Card, giving staff or parents other ways of using the cards and activities to cover the issue of Alcohol giving you three months of SEAL/PSHE work.  This card set is colour and number coded throughout for easy identification.
